Educational Junction
is the “Crossroads to Knowledge; Connecting Students, Parents,
Grandparents, Teachers, and Administrators to Educational Excellence”.
During the 2004 school year, several parents of K-12 students
where discussing the need of a Web site that would make discovering
excellent educational content and products on the web easy and
efficient to find. We wanted to create a place we and other
parents, students, grandparents, teachers and administrators
could find sites that others found useful, safe and they would
refer to their neighbors, family and especially their kids.
Educational Junction is several generations from our original
conversation and has had the help of parents, students, grandparents,
teachers and administrators, who like you, want to easily connect
to sites that carry a parental seal of approval. Each site has
come to us by referral (to
refer a site click here) and has passed the Educational
Junction’s ridged test of standards, ethics, educational content,
and child safety. Referred sites are posted only after they
have been thoroughly investigated by the members of our ‘Site
Selection Team’ that has reviewed the site and / or products
thoroughly.
